Join Our Board

KBIA is currently seeking new Board members to join our governance team. If you have experience in board operations, a passion or lived experience supporting individuals with brain injury or other vulnerable populations, or skills relevant to the nonprofit sector, we would love to hear from you.

If you are interested, please email us at ed@kootenaybia.ca

Donations

Believe us when we say that every little bit of help is appreciated and counts, especially for those in need.

One Time

When you give, you invest in:

  • The right help at the right time - for individuals with brain injury who are often overlooked

  • Strengthening families - who need help understanding and managing the changes in their loved one's mental health and wellness - so those affected by brain injury feel understood, socially connected, and optimistic about their future

  • A strong tomorrow - because preventing brain injury in our youth safeguards their future

  • Education - helping our community better understand how prevalent and preventable brain injury is

  • Our community - because fewer brain injuries means an increased social and economic livelihood for all of us

Monthly

When you make a monthly contribution to Kootenay Brain Injury Association, you provide stable funding for year-round services and programming.

As a monthly supporter, your contribution ensures individuals and families are supported throughout the lengthy recovery resulting from acquired brain injury and for us to better prepare for the next year's programming.
