Non-Traumatic Brain Injury

Traumatic brain injuries are caused by something that happens inside the body or a substance is introduced into the body that damages brain tissues.

They can include:

  • Poisoning

  • Substance abuse

  • Opioid overdose

  • Meningitis

  • Encephalitis

  • Hydrocephalus

  • Vasculitis

  • Hematoma
